George has taught various workshops at different locations. The most recent was last summer's Large Format Photography Workshop, at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. Other notable workshops have included, The Nude as Portrait and Shooting The Figure in Studio at the Unison Arts Center.

George also teaches Individual Photography Workshops which are available year-round at George's studio in Central New Jersey. Each workshop is individually tailored to the needs of the student and varies from a single day, a weekend, to a full week.

Past workshops have concentrated on view camera technique in the field, view camera technique in the studio, shooting the figure with large formats (including oversize banquet camera work), platinum/palladium printing, darkroom and use of pyro-based developers.
